A local, licensed, mobile locksmith company, operated by the team behind Golden Locks Inc., and built on 400+ five-star Google reviews.
Our story
Costa Mesa Locksmith was created to bring a proven Orange County crew to a city that deserved better than call-center locksmiths. We are operated by the licensed team behind Golden Locks Inc., the Huntington Beach locksmith company that has earned 400+ five-star Google reviews (4.5 stars across 465 reviews) by doing simple things unusually well: answering the phone, quoting honestly, arriving fast, and standing behind the work.
Costa Mesa was the natural next step. Our techs were already here daily, rekeying move-ins in Mesa Verde, cutting car keys in South Coast Plaza's decks, and opening safes on Harbor Blvd. So we built this company around the city properly: local knowledge, local response times, and pricing that treats neighbors like neighbors.
What we stand for
Licensed and verifiable. We work under California Locksmith License LCO4446. Ask us, or any locksmith, for the number. A real company will never dodge that question.
Prices before work. Every job is quoted in full before it starts. If the situation at your door changes the job, we explain it and wait for your approval. The reviews that built our name mention this again and again.
Repair before replace. We make our living on trust, not hardware markups. If your lock can be saved, we save it, and show you the worn part that proves why when it cannot.
Local knowledge. Gate codes at the big Harbor Blvd complexes, fair-week traffic patterns, which neighborhoods' locks the salt air eats first, our techs know Costa Mesa because they work Costa Mesa.
Craft and kit
Locksmithing is an old trade with new tools. Our bench pairs the classics, files, picks, and pin kits that have not changed in a century, with key machines and programmers that update every year. Knowing which one a job needs is most of the craft.
It is also why we train the way we do: every tech learns the slow, careful methods first, because the fast modern ones only work when the fundamentals are already in your hands.
How we work
We run fully stocked mobile units instead of a retail shop. Each van carries key-cutting machines, fob programmers, rekey and extraction kits, and the common Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, and high-security hardware our customers need. The result: most calls finish in a single visit, and our lower overhead keeps your price lower than the franchise quote.
Our service area is Costa Mesa first, all of 92626, 92627, and 92628, plus Fountain Valley, Westminster, and Midway City. Emergencies are answered 24/7; planned work like rekeys, upgrades, and master key projects is scheduled around your day, including evenings and weekends.
The fastest way to judge a locksmith is to watch one work. Call for a quote, the price is firm before we start.
Where we work
Our mobile techs are based in Costa Mesa and cover the neighborhoods around it, Mesa Verde, Eastside, Westside, Mesa del Mar, College Park and Halecrest, plus these nearby cities:
